Flint walled garden

Set within a large courtyard in Highgate, this design weaves together existing elements—a pool, entertaining spaces, and a desire for fruit trees—while seamlessly linking the unique main house with two contemporary glass buildings.

The flint walls and limestone paving create a tactile, warm, and striking foundation, while lush planting softens the space with movement, shadow, texture, and fragrance.

Divided into two distinct zones by the pool plant room, we transformed one side into a walled micro orchard, with a boardwalk meandering through fruit trees. On the other, the pool and main entertaining area embrace a Mediterranean feel, offering a sun-drenched retreat.
